Retrofit & Overhaul
Falck Schmidt Defence Systems has
been a contractor and supplier to programs on land
based weapon systems for more than 30 years. The
programs range from development and supply of
complete weapon systems through upgrade programs to
overhaul programs for different kinds of main battle
tanks and armored personnel carriers.
FSDS has been involved in the
conversion of more than two hundred LEOPARD 1A3/A4
to the A5 version for the Danish Army, overhaul of
more than a hundred LEOPARD 1's and overhaul/rebuild
of more than a thousand APC M113.
FSDS has recently produced parts for
the modernization of LEOPARD 2. We also
retrofits/overhauls different kinds of mechanical,
hydraulic and electrical components for the Danish
Army's main workshop.
