Add-on armor components for existing and new platforms
The FSDS competences within composites are based on the capability
for modeling advanced finite elements as well as in-house prototyping
and testing. Our capabilities provide products within structural
composite and hybrid components for vehicles and other platforms.
The FSDS capabilities within composites supports our own product
range as well as a number of the larger defence OEM product lines
worldwide.
Easy to mount add-on armor systems
FSDS has developed, manufactured and supported several add-on
armor systems i.e. for the LAV/PIRANHA III and the fire support
vehicle PNMK M/92. FSDM continues development in order to optimize
the solutions in respect of especially the adaptability, weight,
cost, and the overall protection - in terms of minimizing the ballistic
windows.
